For pets from Willow Ridge.

Full grooms for Willow Ridge dogs of every size.

The full groom is the whole show. We start with a chat and a feel of the coat, then it’s a warm bath, a good blow-dry, a proper brush-out and the cut you’ve picked together.

Faces, feet and bottoms get a tidy, and nails and ears are done if you’d like. Bring a photo of a look you love. If the coat won’t suit it, we’ll tell you honestly and suggest something that will.

Short and sporty, soft and teddy-ish, or long and swishy, there’s no wrong answer. The best cut is one you can keep looking good at home.

Who it suits

Made for all sorts.

  • Fluffy & curly

Poodles, doodles and bichons, scissored or clipped to the length you’re after.

  • Silky & long

Shih Tzus, Yorkies and Maltese, de-tangled with a neat face and feet.

  • Scruffy & wiry

Schnauzers and terriers, kept neat around the beard, brows and legs.

  • Thick & double

De-shed and tidied. We don’t shave double coats unless your vet advises it.

About mats and tangles.

Small knots brush out with a little patience. Tight mats close to the skin can hurt to brush, so if we find them we’ll stop, call you and agree the kindest plan before we carry on. Often a short, even cut is gentler, and it grows back lovely.

A quick brush at home and a groom every few weeks keeps most coats tangle-free. Ask us which brush suits their coat.
